Professional Land Surveyor & Survey Party Chief
Professional Land Surveyor & Survey Party Chief
RCI is hiring an experienced Survey Party Chief and/or Licensed Land Surveyor with a minimum of three years of experience in construction layout and topographic surveys. FAA 107 Drone license and experience in the planning of drone surveys, a solid understanding of photogrammetry, ability to perform bathymetric, TRPA & NDSL surveys, and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience with survey calculations and map preparation are a plus. Knowledge of Trimble Total Stations and GPS equipment is a requirement.

Staff Civil Engineer
Staff Civil Engineer
Resource Concepts, Inc. (RCI) has immediate openings for full-time Nevada licensed Civil Engineers at our Carson City, Nevada office, with the ability to work in our Stateline office. We are looking to fill three positions. Ideal candidates have municipal, commercial, and residential site development, design, permitting, and Construction Administration experience. Related experience must include Improvement Plan Set development, municipal water and sewer system design and modeling, drainage and flood control, site grading and erosion control, and bid documents and technical specifications.
Work will involve project design, modeling, and permitting throughout northern Nevada, northern California, and the Lake Tahoe basin. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
A keen understanding of budgets and deadlines, being self-motivated and detail-oriented, and strong communications skills are essential. Being licensed as a PE in the State of California is a plus. Position requirements are as follows:
Minimum Requirements
- Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license in the State of Nevada
- Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or related field
- Minimum of three years’ site design/permitting and technical experience
- Municipal, commercial, and residential development and design experience
- Strong written and verbal communication, and computational skills
- Ability to produce accurate reports, and detailed plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to adhere to budgets and schedules in a fast-paced consulting environment

Engineering Intern (EI)
Engineering Intern (EI)
Resource Concepts, Inc. (RCI) has immediate openings for full-time Nevada certified Engineering Interns (EI) at our Carson City, Nevada office, with the ability to work in our Stateline office. We are looking to fill up to three positions. Ideal candidates have municipal, commercial, and residential site development, design, permitting, experience. Related experience should include Improvement Plan Set development, municipal water and sewer system design and modeling, drainage and flood control, site grading and erosion control, and technical specifications.

Engineering & Surveying Technician
Engineering & Surveying Technician
Resource Concepts, Inc. (RCI) has immediate openings for full-time Engineering and Surveying Technicians at our Carson City, Nevada office, with the ability to work in our Stateline (Lake Tahoe) office. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and some experience with site development.
Work will involve assisting engineers and surveyors with various tasks that might include field visits, AutoCAD drafting, submittals and deliveries, and other project support. All work will be from our main office on projects throughout northern Nevada, northern California, and the Lake Tahoe basin. The ability to work as part of a team is required.
An understanding of budgets and deadlines, being self-motivated, and detail-oriented are essential. Training is available. Position requirements are as follows:

- High School diploma
- Site development familiarity
- Strong written and verbal communication and computational skills
- Ability to use or learn AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to adhere to budgets and schedules in a fast-paced consulting environment
